NidoWorkshop borns in Milan with the aim of creating and spreading a new language of contemporary jazz, without forgetting Tradition. Its soloist and collective moments are inspired by the Third Stream, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Albert Ayler, Ornette Coleman, Don Cherry, Duke Ellington and John Coltrane. The original repertory stems from the personal vision of each member of the band and includes reworked versions of some jazz milestones.
