Marcos Quartet is a project dedicated to the Mexican sub commander Marcos and, generally, to the desire to fight for freedom and equality that born from the absence of any kind of discrimination. The compositions originate from black music, but at the same time are contaminated from rock sound and free jazz. The stubborn bass lines leave space to compact leads, supported by the contemporary expression of drumming that drives the musicians through the history of this revolution.
